I am an inspired and spirited yoga teacher who loves living in the prairies. I began practicing yoga about 8 years ago and fell in love with it. I am trained in Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga and also have a background in dance. My classes are energetic, playful and will get you flowing, but will also bring a focus to one of the most important aspects of yoga – the breath. Yoga is not just about the physical practice, but about uniting the whole body, mind and soul and the breathe is a great tool to bring it all together.
Some amazing teachers have guided me and I follow the advice of a teacher of mine: “always be a student”. My first training was a 200-hour Ashtanga training completed in Goa, India. I also completed the Yoga 200 hour Teacher Training in March 2012 and plan to continue on with more so I can grow my practice and encourage my students to do the same.
I truly have a huge passion for yoga and believe that I possess a talent for sharing my experiences and encouraging others to grow through the practice of yoga.
